We got up early and returned to the Magic Kingdom.
It felt a bit more crowded than last time due to it beeing a Sunday. But there were still only very short lines in the morning.
We got on the first boat over and arrived a little before opening of the outer gates at 7:10am. Then walking to the back of the park to try to get on Splash Mountain. It was believed to be delayed for a while so onto the first train on Big Thunder Mountain.
Then Small World that we missed last time and with no line. Then Peter Pan with nearly no line (unheard of), then Haunted Mansion with no line, then over to Pirates of the Carribean with no line.
Particularly on the latter, the line can be very very long so there is a lot of winding back and forth through the line which was empty. We may have spent 3 or 4 minutes walking through the line area with no people before we got to the actual ride. Once we reached an actual line of people, we might have waited 2 or 3 minutes.
We did a couple more rides and then headed out by a little before 10am.
Back to camp and then over to the Grand Floridian Hotel for lunch at their cafe. The Grand Floridian is their most expensive hotel ($700 per night minimum), it’s nice on the outside. I’ve heard there are some complaints about the rooms which is strange. I think it is also one of the original hotels.
Lunch was fine. I had an eggs benedict I’ve had before there. We enjoyed it but it wasn’t like some other meals we’ve had.
I’ve had ample time to move some work project forward the last couple of days. Everything seems to be going well.
