Today was a no-wind driving day and very pleasant.
From Tucumcari, New Mexico we drove we entered the great state of Texas, went through Amarillo and then down to Vernon. This route lets us avoid the universally reviled driving nightmare of Dallas / Fort Worth.
(As Twin Cities go, Minneapolis / St. Paul is a very pleasant driving experience.)
The countryside has gotten greener and the lack of wind is quite nice.
As soon as we got set up, we had our early dinner and I settled in to continue working. I had a good business call, heard from a business collaborator who had gone silent for a couple of days (glad he’s back), and had a delightful talk with my daughters.
I still have a couple of work things to take notes on and then sleep. Tomorrow will be a longer driving day.
